Warmer Temps Are Finally Here

One week ago, we saw high temperatures in the metro that broke records at MSP. A week later, the temperatures are still in the warm range, just not in the record zone. We will be seeing some much warmer temperatures in the area compared to the beginning part of March. The graphics below show the warmth that will be moving into our area.

CAN WE BREAK A RECORD?

Even though our temperatures will be way above normal for a while, we are not in record-breaking territory. The record high temperatures from Monday – Sunday are between 61° – 73°. It Will be warm this week, but not that warm.

A LOOK AHEAD…

It will be sunny and in the 50s for Sunday before we see a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms for Monday and Tuesday. Temps cool towards the middle of the week before they rebound for the weekend.

DEW POINTS INCREASE?

Southerly winds will open up an area for moisture from the Gulf Coast to enter. This opening will allow dew points around 50° on Tuesday. You may notice the extra humidity, but it’s not considered humid unless the dew point is in the 60° range.
